The proposed system would almost certainly eliminate all party labels from the primary ballot. So we would have to vote on a plethora of candidates for each office, with none of them identified by party label. This is just about the same thing as having entirely non-partisan elections. Result: the candidates with the most money will buy name recognition and win the elections.
