Click the link below to download Oregon's voter registration form. Sign it. Mail it to your county elections office (addresses are on the form). Don't forget the 42 cent stamp!
All the Democrats in Congress need to do is . . . nothing. Just don't affirmatively vote for more money. All this requires is having a majority in one of the two houses.

Withdrawal is essential. To much has been sacrificed. Congress seems unwilling to even have the discussion. I have written Walden endlessly on this. I would love to see someone run against him as the Dem "Lemas" does not appear motivated to really campaign against him. But jumping to another topic... until we take the money out of campaigns it is difficult to unseat entrenched candidates.

I think that the Independent Party should refrain from taking positions on any issues. Let candidates define their own positions. Independent should mean independent!

Although I thought it was insane to invade Iraq at the time we did it, I also think that if we leave now, it would be like saying "oops, sorry we broke your country. Gotta go now! Good luck!" On the other hand, I'm not sure things are any better if we stay. We absolutely need to provide asylum for those people (and their families) whose lives are at risk because they worked with the Americans. There really are no good options at this point.
